The price, explained

It is not more expensive. It is a different calculation.

When you compare The Good Cup™ with a classic cup, you are comparing one product with two. Our price includes the lid. Below is the calculation, and the nine reasons, in the order that matters to a coffee shop.

Do the calculation properly

Do not compare two cups. Compare one product with two.

A plastic lid costs 0.09–0.13 lei each at wholesale in Romania. Take the price of the cup you use today, add the lid, and compare it with our offer at the same volume.

First: how many cups do you use per month?

The answer changes the whole discussion. The price per cup depends on volume with any supplier, and with us the lid is already inside. Tell us how many cups you use and we will give you the exact figure for your volume, not a price list.

The nine reasons

  1. The lid is included in the price

You are comparing one product with two. A plastic lid costs you 0.09–0.13 lei each on top, plus the ordering, the shelf and the stock. With The Good Cup™ the lid is the cup: it never appears on an invoice again.

  2. One product to manage

One order, one code, one shelf, one stock count. No more cups left without lids, or 12oz lids sitting on the shelf for two months. And lids take up room: the space behind the bar is the most expensive square metre in the shop.

  3. The stack of lids at self-service disappears

The lid is the only thing on the self-service station that touches the drink directly and is not individually wrapped. Sugar comes in a sachet, the straw is wrapped, the napkin sits in a holder. Lids sit bare, in a stack that dozens of hands go through every day, they stick to each other, and the customer touches them one by one until the right size turns up.

Have you ever seen a customer pull three lids at once, drop two on the floor and put them back on the stack?

This is not something you control. It is a touch point that simply should not exist. With The Good Cup™ the lid comes from behind the bar: touched once, by one person, on that customer's cup. And there is nothing left to refill or pick up off the floor exactly when the shop is full.

  4. Zero lids popping off in delivery

On Glovo, Bolt Food or Tazz, a lid that pops off means spilled coffee, a refund and a one-star review. Our lid is folded from the cup — it does not come off in the courier bag.

  5. The material holds — and you can check it yourself

It does not go soft and it does not leak: it holds a hot drink without giving way, and it works cold, with condensation.

We are not asking you to take our word for it. We leave a few cups with you: put coffee in them and compare after an hour with the cup you use today.

  6. One less piece of plastic? No. Zero plastic.

Dropping the plastic lid is a step forward. But a classic paper cup usually has a plastic layer on the inside too, so “no lid” does not automatically mean “no plastic”. With The Good Cup™ the lid is gone, and the cup itself contains no plastic: certified plastic-free by Flustix.

The result: 100% less plastic with every coffee served, compared with a conventional system that contains plastic.

You are not just cutting one piece of plastic. You are taking plastic out of the equation.

  7. The cup works for your brand

It is the only thing the customer carries out of the shop and around town. A cup nobody has seen before photographs itself — free content for your coffee shop.

  8. Under 3% of the price of a coffee

On a 10–12 lei coffee, a difference of 20–30 bani is under 3% of the bill — less than the sugar sachets you give away for free. And we deliver from stock in Romania, not in 45 days.

  9. You test it with no risk

We send you free samples. If the cup convinces you, start with a small order. Most price discussions close once the cup is on the counter.
